About the site and where the data comes from

WARDOGS Guide is an unofficial fan site with guides for WARDOGS. We are not affiliated with Bulkhead or Team17, sell nothing and run no ads. The site is kept by one player; the texts are written by hand, and the weapon and vehicle pages are built by scripts from open databases under the rules below.

  • The game itself is the main source. Payouts, prices and levels marked “our data” come from screenshots of the current build.
  • Every number has a source and a date. Data pages carry the build they were checked against.
  • We don’t hide disagreements. When a screenshot and someone else’s table differ, we publish the screenshot and explain the gap in the text.
  1. Our own screenshot of the current build and Bulkhead’s official patch notes on Steam.
  2. Reward tables from the game files, as published by open calculators (wardogs.zone).
  3. Item databases: wardogs.tools, wardo.gs, the Dexerto wiki. They use their own version numbers; we match them by patch date.
  4. Community guides — only as a hint of what to check.

A “community data” label means we have not confirmed that number ourselves yet.

What Where from How we check
Payouts per action Screenshots of the reward feed and match summary Repeat the action in several matches; formulas checked against the wardogs.zone tables
Weapon, vehicle and ammo prices, unlock levels The wardogs.tools and Dexerto databases The in-game vendor and unlock tab, patch notes
Damage, time to kill, range The wardogs.tools calculation: an enemy with 100 health in level 1 armour, hit in the upper torso, standard ammo The conditions are stated on every page
Hits against vehicles Community breakdowns (September–October 2026) “Estimate” means our own calculation from health and modifiers
Maps, control zones, towers Open data from the Apollyon calculator (MIT) Coordinates and names only, no images
News Steam announcements, developer comments, press Every item is labelled official, studio, press or rumour

We never copy other people’s text: we take the fact, link the source and write it in our own words.

  • We don’t open the game files, hunt for keys or dump the client: that would circumvent the protection and break the game’s rules. We work only with our own screenshots, readable local config files and other people’s published exports.
  • We don’t publish numbers without a source. If there is no verified source, the page says so.
  • News — three times a day, from official announcements, developer comments and the press.
  • Patch notes — on patch day, after which we fix the affected guides. What changed is visible on the patch notes page.
  • Weapon and vehicle pages — rebuilt from the refreshed database after every patch. The check date and build are at the bottom of each of those pages.

WARDOGS is in Early Access, and every season makes some numbers stale. If a page shows an old build, trust the game, not us.
