How towers work

Towers are the main lever for controlling a match. Whoever completes the tower code decides where the Hot Zone goes — and so where their team earns points and cash fastest.

  • Towers stand inside the Control Zone. How many there are depends on the map.
  • Each tower has a control room on its middle floor: a computer and a keypad.
  • Any of the three teams can capture a tower, and it can be taken back later.
  • Towers have their own map icon (listed as “Tower” in the legend).
  1. Capture a tower → a code digit. Each captured tower shows one digit. The code is new every match; its length depends on the number of towers.
  2. Full code → the drill. With all the digits, your team enters the code on the keypad of a tower it holds. That starts the drill.
  3. Drill → Hot Zone. The Hot Zone starts crawling towards that tower and sits on it for a while.
  4. Hot Zone → a lead on the scoreboard. Every player in the Hot Zone counts as two, and action payouts are higher there. The Hot Zone on your fortified tower is the fastest way to win a match.
  • Control of the Hot Zone. You choose where the most valuable spot on the map will be — and put it where your defence already stands.
  • Cash and XP. Tower captures level Assault, and fighting in the Hot Zone pays the most.
  • Denying the enemy. Taking a tower back costs the enemy their digit and their position.
