WARDOGS maps
Officially, Bulkhead has named only one map — Bakurani. The game’s configuration, according to an open data export, holds two more — Ozeti and Zestafona — but the studio has not announced them. This page collects what is known about each: where the Control Zone variants sit, how far the bases are from them and how many towers stand nearby.
In short
Section titled “In short”- The Control Zone is not random across the whole map. Each map has 3–4 preset zone variants in one area, a few hundred metres apart; the zone circle has a 500 m radius (550 m on Ozeti).
- Base to zone is about 4 km. That is the “ten minutes on foot”, which is why vehicles and helicopters matter.
- All spawn points on Bakurani were moved in Season 2 (patch notes of 14 October 2026). The distances below are Season 1.
Where the data comes from
Section titled “Where the data comes from”Zone, base and tower coordinates come from the open data of the Apollyon calculator (MIT licence), where they were converted from the game’s configuration; export of 11 October 2026, Steam build 25677108. We take only coordinates, radii and names — we have no map images and take none from other sources. How this squares with the “2×2 km zone” in the game’s Steam description we have not checked: a 500 m radius gives a 1 km circle.
In the game, right-clicking the map sends the coordinates of any point to chat, in the form x79.35, y67.18. One unit is 100 m, so that is 7,935 m and 6,718 m from the map edge. The map grid (the GRID 100 M toggle) is the same 100 m.
Bakurani
Section titled “Bakurani”The only map Bulkhead has named in patch notes. The playable coordinate area is roughly 11 × 11 km inside a 16 × 16 km field.
| Zone variant | Centre (x, y in metres) | Radius | Rotation weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Default | 7,959, 7,153 | 500 m | 2 |
| Farmland | 8,105, 6,909 | 500 m | 1 |
| Lumberyard | 8,218, 7,153 | 500 m | 1 |
The three variants sit in one area: 150–260 m between their centres. From each faction’s base to the centre of the default zone is 3.9–4.0 km (Season 1). The data lists 5 towers, all within 100–310 m of the centre of some zone variant.
Not mentioned in any official material; the name comes from the game configuration. The zone radius is larger here — 550 m.
| Zone variant | Centre (x, y in metres) | Radius | Rotation weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Default | 9,962, 6,327 | 550 m | 1 |
| Church | 10,123, 6,296 | 550 m | 1 |
| River | 9,734, 6,214 | 550 m | 1 |
| Farmland | 9,431, 6,329 | 550 m | 0 — disabled |
From the Manticore and Lonestar bases to the default zone is 3.6–4.0 km. The Valkyra base point in the export duplicates its Bakurani base and looks like an error; judging by the vendor positions, its base is about 3.8 km from the zone. 4 towers, within 160–450 m of the zone variants.
Zestafona
Section titled “Zestafona”Also unannounced. Zone radius 500 m.
| Zone variant | Centre (x, y in metres) | Radius | Rotation weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Default | 7,033, 10,272 | 500 m | 1 |
| Water treatment | 6,967, 10,000 | 500 m | 1 |
| Houses | 6,862, 10,371 | 500 m | 1 |
| Small factory | 7,084, 10,518 | 500 m | 0 — disabled |
Base to default zone is 3.6–3.8 km. 3 towers, all within 50–200 m of the zone variant centres.
How to use this
Section titled “How to use this”- Plan routes by coordinates. Knowing the zone centre and your own position (right-click the map → coordinates in chat), distance is easy to estimate: 10 coordinate units is a kilometre.
- Towers are next to the zone. Every tower stands within half a kilometre of the zone variants, so taking and holding them is part of the zone fight, not a separate trip. What they are for is under Towers.
- The mortar uses the same coordinates. Range and azimuth to a target are in the mortar guide.
