Update 0.1.2

Released 30 September 2026. A small patch: the developers closed holes in the economy, fixed a Windows 11 crash and made it easier to pick servers. Bigger balance changes are planned for Season 2.

Original patch notes on Steam

  • The WD-L020 crash on Windows 11 is fixed.
  • Cash and XP exploits are closed, and repeat abuse now gets a permanent ban.
  • Unloading pallets at a FOB outside the zone pays less.
  • New DEPLOY menu: pick official, community, infantry or low-level servers straight away.

If the game crashed with WD-L020 after the recent Windows 11 update (KB5124010), that’s fixed. Just update the game in Steam.

The patch closes ways to earn around normal play:

  • Revives are checked by the server. Only real revives count. Honest medics aren’t affected.
  • The vehicle fly-through exploit is fixed, and its rewards are now capped.
  • Rewards for destroying buildables now scale with how far they were built. Knocking down a freshly placed schematic no longer pays the full amount.
  • Pallets unloaded at a FOB outside the zone pay less. The full unload payout comes from a FOB inside the Control Zone. The developers didn’t say how much lower the outside reward is. More on payouts in Income by action.
  • New DEPLOY menu. Hit DEPLOY and choose Official, Community, Infantry Mode or Low-Level servers. It makes servers running those modes easier to find.
  • Advanced filters are back in the official server list.
  • Long server names are no longer cut off — hover to see the full name.
  • After you click Join, you see that you’re connecting and your place in the queue, if there is one.
  • Anonymous mode now hides the server name on the loading screen, like Streamer mode. The pause menu keeps it hidden too unless you choose to show it.
  • Region select shows how many regions you’ve picked.
  • The DEPLOY screen supports gamepads.
  • Grenades, smoke and C4 can no longer be thrown from enclosed vehicle seats.
  • The adaptive crosshair now hides while aiming down sights.
  • Buildable crit spots no longer reappear where you just hit, slide into corners or jump to the far side. They now favour a spot you can reach from where you stand.
  • The Havoc took extra damage from 20 mm and 30 mm cannons — fixed. The attack helicopter now holds up better against autocannons. The developers overcorrected, and since 2 October the CWIS kills the Havoc in about 6 seconds again, not 12.
  • Improved translations.
  • Server stability and security.
  • Scheduled daily restarts (time in UTC).
  • RCON access can be limited by host (AllowedHosts).
  • RCON message and broadcast lengths are capped.
  • RCON defaults to standard response detail, and config responses no longer expose server internals.
  • ServerImageURL is validated when the config loads.
  • Income by action and Pilot: we recorded the $1,800 pallet unload payout in the Hot Zone. We’ve added a note that it pays less outside the zone since 0.1.2.
