Update 0.11

Released 14 September 2026. A server browser patch: the developers admitted community servers had been underserved and started fixing that. They also announced a hard line on economy abuse.

The version number is the one from the developers’ announcement (Patch 0.11). They called the next patch 0.1.2.

Original on Steam

  • Two server browsers: official and community servers are separate.
  • Community servers keep a permanent ID — you can join by number.
  • Cash exploits and GPU crashes fixed.
  • Ban policy: abusing economy bugs means a ban and a cash and XP reset; farming XP on farm servers means a permanent ban.
  • The list is split into Community and Official.
  • Filters were removed from official servers, since there are no modified official modes yet. 0.1.2 brought advanced filters back.
  • Community server filtering is more reliable, and there’s text search.
  • A community server’s ID persists across matches and restarts. The number is longer for security reasons.
  • Show Empty/Full were added to the browser quick bar.
  • The Host button goes to the right place.
  • Server names sort alphabetically regardless of special characters and numbers. No more than one space in a row.

As an apology, community servers gave a +5% end-of-match cash bonus for a week after the patch. That’s over now.

  • Several cash exploits fixed.
  • More GPU crashes fixed.
  • More server capacity in Asia.

The WARDOGS economy is shared by every player, so the developers come down hard:

  • Abusing cash exploits and bugs — a timed ban (longer with each previous ban) and a cash and XP reset.
  • Content that teaches people how to abuse systems, without trying to report the issue, counts as advertising cheats — permanent ban. Posting about a bug on social media or Discord is fine; the difference is alerting versus promoting.
  • XP farming is the most serious offence. The developers track which servers you join and know the farm servers. Stay on one for more than a few minutes — permanent ban.

The developers add that stumbling on a bug and testing it once or twice is fine. Abuse is doing the same thing over and over.

The developers are collecting community requests. In the pipeline:

  • favourite community servers;
  • tiered priority queues for community servers;
  • a message of the day on servers;
  • better warm-up activities;
  • no AFK kicks while a server is seeding;
  • team switching controls.

This doesn’t affect Season 2 content, which is being built in parallel.
