FOB exploit bans won't be lifted

The official WARDOGS account on X replied to players banned for farming cash and XP: cash and XP exploit abuse is no longer tolerated, the punishments stand, and the decision is final.

Bulkhead head Joe Brammer added that the players were using an exploit, not a normal game mechanic. According to summaries of his post, the exploit is fixed for Season 2, and this kind of behaviour is now tracked in match data. The punishment is a temporary ban plus a cash and XP reset.

According to players and the press, the group built a FOB, let the enemy take it and shelled it with mortars to collect FOB-supply assist payouts, then turned the money straight into gold and skins.

What it means for you: the ban rules from update 0.11 are enforced. Farming cash off your own structures gets you banned and reset.
