Hotfixes of 2 October
On 2 October 2026 two hotfixes went out: security and stability in the morning, two balance changes in the afternoon.
In short
Section titled “In short”- IR rangefinders are pulled from the vendor until Season 2. They come back in Season 2 but will need batteries.
- The CWIS kills the Havoc in about 6 seconds again, not 12 as after 0.1.2.
- Minor security and stability fixes.
Balance: IR rangefinders and CWIS
Section titled “Balance: IR rangefinders and CWIS”IR rangefinders disappear from the vendor as servers restart across regions — within 12 hours of the announcement. The developers agreed with players that they were too strong. They return in Season 2, but will need batteries.
The announcement title says “IR Goggles”, but the text is about IR rangefinders.
CWIS vs the Havoc. In 0.1.2 the developers fixed a bug that made the Havoc take extra damage from 20 mm and 30 mm cannons. They overcorrected: the CWIS took 12 seconds to bring the attack helicopter down. It’s back to about 6 seconds.
No client download was needed and servers stayed up.
Security and stability
Section titled “Security and stability”A hotfix for minor security and stability issues affecting some players. Servers were down for about an hour from 08:00 UTC.
What we updated in our guides
Section titled “What we updated in our guides”- Recon: the gear table notes that the IR rangefinder isn’t for sale right now.
- Update 0.1.2: added that the Havoc’s toughness against the CWIS was partly rolled back.
